What is Acrostic Poetry?

The Acrostic Poet takes the title of the poem and writes it down the page.
Then they write a line of verse across the page for each capital letter on the left.
It's a very good way to get a flow of consciousness going, 
  without needing to focus on the blank page.
Some say that the method gets you off the blank page and into your emotions. 
Anyway there are about 400 acrostic poems in this blog.
